Graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Strasbourg and the CELSA Sorbonne University, Frédéric Crotta began his career as a journalist in print media at Libération and Le Quotidien de Paris, before joining Radio France as a reporter and presenter.
He then moved towards television journalism: first at the Sygma TV news agency, then TF1 and France Télévision, where he joined the team of senior reporters. He contributed to all editions of the television news but also to magazines such as “Envoyé spécial,” “Complément d’Enquête,” “Argent Public,” and more recently to the geopolitics program “Un œil sur la planète.”
He was also sent to France Télévision offices across France in Marseille, Nice, Strasbourg, and Bordeaux as well as abroad: New York, London, and Rome.
Author of books on justice and the police, Frédéric Crotta now dedicates himself to producing documentaries for television as well as investigations published on digital news sites. He is also a trainer and teaches at the National School of Magistracy, as well as at Paris Assas as part of a diploma in Information and Terrorism and in criminology at Lyon III.
